Resume: fully working hackintosh (App store /tested on update Safari/, sleep, sound, ethernet…) except iMessage (I’m not interested at this moment).

A lot of thanks for Tonymacx86 team

im try to inatallation is but cant boot my hdd boot only pendrive

sweet! i have the same board and did manage to get it working with 10.9.4 but didn't bother making a guide since i had some issues that i couldn't be bothered to work out, most of which i think were because i was using the same drive to dualboot win7 and osx.

i'll try this guide once i get another ssd :)

also, im pretty sure imessage is broke for most hackintoshes, not just yours

I just built the exact same system... And can also confirm that everything works completely out of the box!

I have used a hackintosh box for the last 4 years and have always had nightmare getting everything working and stable. This was the first one I didn't have to do anything but run multibeast once, and simply reboot.

Highly recommend for an out of the box solution.

I have a similar system, just in today, no extra graphics card.

Intel Core i3-4330, 3.50GHz
Gigabyte Z97-D3H
Kingston HX Savage 4GB DDR3

After five or six attempts I got the UniBeast installation on Mavericks working. I used these boot options:

GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x2000

I could install Mavericks after formatting my 1TB hard drive (connect it to the SATA socket, not in the SATA Express)

However when rebooting, I can not get past the boot screen. I have tried the same boot options as above.

Does anyone have the same problem or know a workaround?

Kind regards!

Hi i have a similar system but I'm not able to reach the installer. When i start without any boot flags the installation stops at the appleicon and shows a text that says "kernel panic"

does anyone know how to solve the problem? I also tried with -v -x -f but doesn't work.

my system:

MB: Gigabyte Z97 D3H
SSD: Kingston V300 60GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4GB

I have the same motherboard , I7 4790K 4GHZ , 16 giga DD3 1600 , gtx660 gigabyte , SSD256 Transend .
system was not stable , on mavericks 10.9.5 or Yosemite 10.10 ....
I can use mackintosh for many hours or only 5 minutes ... mouse freeze and i must be reset system ....
I don't know how to see where is the problem , it's a random trouble
If we have an idea ?

Man I have exactly the same motherboard and had problems with ethernet (not appearing as interface in network preferences). Nothing I found on internet helped (deleting preferences plists, reinstalling drivers, fiddling with property strings, adding custom kexts, nothing...).

Seems I was installing a wrong driver all time along! After installing the same driver as you it magically started to work (didn't even need a reboot).

Thanks bro!!

Btw I wanted to ask: Do you have problems with audio not working after waking up from hybernation / deep sleep with this setup?

It's not a big deal for me as I have SSD and reboot takes just few seconds, but I am considering trying to reinstall the system using your setup.

Just stop by to say that I did exactly the same thing OP posted here with great success.
I hope people find this post and copy your instructions when doing builds with this motherboard.

Thanks a lot!!!
