Cool thanks for the link, I landed up using the Windows method (2nd method on the link i sent) as I have a dual boot hackintosh. Your images worked great to install MultiBeast, as I am using MultiBeast 6.3.1 my audio won't work. Which MultiBeast did you use?

Are you thinking of upgrading to OS X Yosemite? I was looking at this link http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/148285-x79-up5-wifi-alc898-no-audi-device-yosemite.html#post932303 the only this is I need my Adobe CS6 Suite to use and want to wait to see the problems solved.
