The 755 is pretty close, but tends to have fewer issues then the 745. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to try it until I go home for Thanksgiving. I'll post it then. I suggest swapping out the hard drive so if it doesn't work, you won't have to install mountain lion all over again. Let me know how it goes.

My 745 keeps resetting the BIOS to defaults.
The installer cannot see the HD.
How did you fix that?

EvOreboot fixes the BIOS reset.

Also you will need the IOATAFamily.kext (put in your extra folder on the installer) to allow the installer to see your internal drive :)

If you look at the instructions, the first step is creating the unibeast installer. The ONLY changes you make to it is to put the patched ioatafamily.kext i made into Extra/Extensions folder on it. This is what allows the installer to see your hd. Do not install Evoreboot or anything else to the unibeast installer flash drive. Just run the installer from it and reboot.
The bios will reset after the installer finishes so put them back to the recommended settings on the guide after the reboot.
Then reboot from the unibeast flash drive and select the new installation. Now you'll boot into your new installation and you can follow the post installation section which includes installing evoreboot to stop the bios reset

Note that ElliottForceLegacyRTC also prevents the bios reset but is unstable and has caused inconsistent kernel panics for me and so I don't recommend it
