I'm using opencore with alcid=3 and the last applealc kext. I still have no audio.

In OC under device properties, you should have the ability to change what ID you use. I find this the best place in OC to set the ID.

If you are supposed to use alcid =3 then set layout-id 0300000 I personally try to limit my boot arguments.

Problem solved. Thank you for the tip.

Another issue, the rear connector does not work. In Mojave and Catalina it worked, I believe that with id=11 by haporis. I tried to change from 0300000 to 1100000.

I would try different options you might also need to clear the nvram.

Did any of you try beta 9 on 3040? I get "userspace panic: boot task failure: restore-datapartition"
