Comments:

Installed OS X (Mountain Lion 10.8.1) on 1TB drive (Multibeast took a while to configure properly, but I finallygot the right combinations...see below)
Installed Windows 7 on 500TB drive

UsedTonyMac guide for installing Mountain Lion...followed to the T, everything worked perfectly.

Audio/USB/IntelVideo working fine. ESATA / Front USB/ Front Audio working fine on Ultra Card Reader

MultiBeast Config...
UsedMulti Beast Mountain Lion 5.0.2
UserDSDT or DSDT free installation
Drivers
Audio- Realtek ALC8XX - Without DSDT - ALC887
Network- hnak's AppleIntelE1000e Ethernet
Misc- Null CPU
System- CPU Power management option

Everything is awesome...booting works well, drivers, etc. Thanks TonyMacX86!!!!

Edit:

Is Youtube "slow" for you? Users with hnak's kext reported issues about that.

I will have to check tonight. To be honest, I haven't tried it since I was just running Mountain Lion before I made it a dual boot. I know that shouldn't make any difference, but I will have to see. It seems like I do recall a couple of "blotchy" segments while playing a sample video, but I didn't spend a lot of time investigating at that point.

If it is running slowly, do you have a suggestion for a different/better kext or multibeast option?

Awesome, glad you got it to work!

I am working on the same build, but am having problems when booting after chimera bootloader is installed. I got a kernal panic about CPUID:
getCPUIDInfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a

Did you have any problems with that?

I’ll try your settings that you have listed in the guide for multibeast.

Thanks!!!

There isn't any other kexts for Intel LANs... that's why I asked.

@BeavJamz89...I did. Actually I had a couple issues. the 1st was the gray circle "hourglass" freezing up at that precise point. What fixed it for me was the Multibeast combo of Misc menu - "NullCPUPowerManagement" and then a couple of drop downs later installing the System menu - "Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerMangement" fix. Once I did that, worked like a dream.

Hello!

I like your build. I am actually thinking about doing a build like this. I was thinking about making it an i7 instead of the i5, but not sure about cooling and size. I think without overclocking it shouldn't be a problem. So it looks like you have a working hack. Any issues?

One other thing, do you think you could do a geekbench for me? Trying to get a feeler between the ud5 ATX and this one. That one is about 14,000 not over clocked, so if I could get at least 12,000 on this one I'd probably just go for this as I love the small form factor. I wonder if I'll have problems with a large video card like a 560t or 660. Any input would be great!

Thanks

New version of hnak's Intel LAN kext arrived!

Here!

No other issues. After flash is installed, I do have "buggy" you tube video, but I am going to try a different kext. The I7 would fit in a mid-tower and be cooled just fine. As far as graphics cards go, I am not sure as I am just running the Intel 4000 graphics built into the i5...love that so far, no complaints. But, I am not a gamer or anything.
