Comments

Followed the superb Snbd889's build guide as he has the same board as me, but decided to go down the UniBeast / MultiBeast route and not the Clover route

Installation

I used my iMac to download OS X Yosemite 10.10.4, and I used the Great tonymacx86 UniBeast / MultiBeast Guide

I used the following settings in MultiBeast configuration:

Booted into Yosemite, everything works apart from iMessage (but I don't use this anyway)

Final Thoughts

Early days, but very happy with how easy the build went.

Update

After following tonymacx86 guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...-el-capitan-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

and matt77303 usb fix guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-support/172337-el-capitan-usb-issues-possible-fix.html

I was able to do a clean install from 10.10.5 to 10.11.1 using clover as my bootloader and having working Audio and USB3 :headbang:

All I would say is you need to copy clover from the efi partition on your usb boot drive to the efi partition on your HDD and then edit your clover config files from that partition.. to be able to boot without your usb drive installed... went  trying to figure that out
