Works in the BIOS too? I want to be able to use my Bluetooth keyboard in the startup to get into the BIOS.

I haven't tested this as I don't use a BT keyboard or mouse.

Hey Bortoni, thanks so much for getting back to me and the help! So, I removed WE, and added Acre and 560 kexts. We're at 99% functionality - that missing 1% is puzzling me! For some reason, my secondary display (standard HP 1080 via HDMI) looked fine, but my main display which is a Dell P2415Q connected by DisplayPort looked almost exactly like that awful effect you get when you increase the "Display Contrast" in Accessibility Settings. Naturally I went straight to that setting, but it was off as it is supposed to be. Then I fiddled around with different ColorSync settings (Display > Color tab), but the only thing that brought it back to looking normal was to select the "Paper" profile in the monitor's default hardware settings via the panel.

While this looks OK, the other modes available through macOS and the display itself, including Flux etc - which I often switch between due to ambient lighting changes - all look broken, basically. Any ideas? Sorry to be such a pain.

edit: Well that was a rollercoaster. I thought I'd take the initiative, and try booting without Acre.kext. Bad things happened, or rather didn't happen. What's worse is that my Windows partition is not currently working, so I had to quickly (a) pray that the UEFI Console option in clover allowed you to manage files and (b) work out how to use it. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen back on my MS-DOS comfortableness with the command line. When people see me do it they mistake me for an actual clever person, it's great.

All this is to say, is removing Acre.kext definitely was not a solution.

I have the same kexts installed. I am wondering what your clover settings are since I cant find a solution for my sleep issues. Also Adobe Lightroom will crash. I'm afraid I have some of my graphics settings wrong. Trying to narrow down where the problem lies. Hope you can be of help te me. Thanks in advance.

Your motherboard is not the same as mine, so I can't be exactly sure. Can you post your ioreg and config file? Also can you boot and run DPCIManager and post the the boot log from the "Misc" tab?

Have you followed this guide to ensure you got your USB ports sorted out?

I understand about the motherboard. I post the files now. The problems I have at the moment are: sleep doesn't function. Sometimes my HGST HDD drive is not recognized after boot. Adobe Lightroom will crash and also causes the system to reboot out of nothing.
I haven't sorted the USB ports out YET. I am reading into it as it is somewhat complex to me I want to get it right the first time. I am using a fractal r5 case with 2 usb 3 ports and 2 usb 2 ports. Also I have an internal card reader with 4 usb 3 ports and 2 charging ports (Akasa AK-HC-07BK)
Also My Dell U2718Q 4k IPS display (connected via DP 1.2) has an usb 3 hub. This is a lot for me to map and a challenge. So I will need to take some time for this.

I hope you can see a mistake I made. Thanks in advance. Wim

I haven't sorted the USB ports out YET. I am reading into it as it is somewhat complex to me I want to get it right the first time. I am using a fractal r5 case with 2 usb 3 ports and 2 usb 2 ports. Also I have an internal card reader with 4 usb 3 ports and 2 charging ports (Akasa AK-HC-07BK)
Also My Dell U2718Q 4k IPS display (connected via DP 1.2) has an usb 3 hub. This is a lot for me to map and a challenge. So I will need to take some time for this.

I did an initial pass at looking at your config etc... I would start by doing the following:

Try my updated config file I'm attaching... it's cleaned up (keep your old one somewhere just in case).

Add my SSDT_XOSI.aml. (attached)
Remove: EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Other\IntelGraphicsFixup.kext. (only used is trying use IGPU only w/o AMD card).

Do create your own USB mapping. Remove as many plugged in USBs and just use a thumb drive to map out what's there. When finished remove:

After that, let's reassess.

First of all thank you Bortoni for taking the time to look at my files and your willingness to help. I updated the config file and patched SSDT_XOSI.aml
Also I removed intelgraphicsfixup.kext

Then I mapped the USB ports. It worked out really well. All USB3 that was not working before is working now. Haven't added the USB 3 charging code yet. Can I just add this to the SSDT-UIAC.aml file I made?

After the mapping (everything shows up correct now in iOreg) and all USB3 working I removed the port limit patch from clover Kernel and Kext Patches.

Rebooted and tried sleep. Still not working unfortunately.

Do you have a suggestion what I can do now? I added my configuration set up.
