EVO 970 Plus not suported ...
Use 960 Pro or 970 Pro
The Samsung 970 EVO Plus needs a firmware upgrade. See this thread for more information:

Hi all,

I've installed Mojave 10.14.6. I don't use WhateverGreen.kext because of Sapphire Pulse RX 580. It runs out of the box. However I can't get any USB 3.0 working. All ports work as USB 2.0 only. F10 BIOS settings as in OP.

Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

EDIT: never mind :)

Hi All

Followed this guide and got a nice speedy hackintosh but I'm experiencing random reboots. Don't think its hardware related as Memtested and stress tests all good. Plus its dual boot and windows is fine. Any help with how to debug this would be gratefully received

Cheers

I am trying to follow this build and followed the BIOS Setup exactly. When I select the UniBeast USB, the MB doesn't do anything with it. the MB just goes back to the Setup screen.

Any ideas on a BIOS Setting for the board to get it to boot off the UniBeast Stick?

Great build and great stats! Have you downloaded the FREE Twinmotion software from Epic Games (https://www.twinmotion.com.my/downloads/)? If so, I'm curious how it fairs in "Ultra" mode in the Preferences -> Quality. Would be interested in a screenshot of "fps".

BIOS version F11 of this build is optimized to i9-9900K processors with overclocking options inside... Running F11 BIOS at this moment without any issues, though no overclocking. Macos 10.15.1

Hi,

Can someone share the updated EFI folder of their working builds for macOS Catalina I have the same configs just that I don't have any dedicated GPU and wanted to use the built-in Intel Graphics. I don't have much knowledge, It would really be very helpful if someone can share their EFI with Intel Graphics working and with BIOS F11.

Motherboard: GB Z390 AORUS Pro
CPU: Intel i7-9700K
SSD: Samsung EVO 860 M.2 256GB SSD
RAM: 8GBx2 Corsair Vengeance 3200
Dedicated GPU: NO

Thanks a lot.

Excellent guide! Thank you for your support!

I have a very similar build with the only difference being a Sapphire RX 580 8GB Nitro+. My computer seems to be working great however I'm facing extremely low Geekbench scores: :(
1338
Single-Core Score
9011
Multi-Core Score

I have followed your BIOS configuration exactly and cannot manage to figure out where the issue is. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you very much!

Could anyone possibly help me with a random reboot. Sometimes I can go a couple of hours sometimes its only 10-20 minutes. Usually happens when I walk out of the room. I have energy saver turned off. I dont allow sleeping. This all happened it seems after going up to Catalina. I would appreciate any insight.
