Awesome Build Guide!
Yet I'm still having problems. I'm hoping someone can help quickly, I'm on kind of a time crunch! I'm in the Navy, my house is in Louisiana and I'm stationed in California. The Hackintosh at issue is used as a Home Server/Plex Media Server and I'm leaving to go back to California in a couple of days.
So here it goes, my hardware configuration is as follows:
Gigabyte Z390 Aorous Pro WiFi - BIOS ver F11
Intel i9-9900K (not OC'd)
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200MHz - 64GB (4x16GB)
Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 - 1TB x 2
Onboard Graphics
I'm running High Sierra because I'm also running macOS Server with services that were eliminated in the next version of macOS Server. May upgrade at a later time, but no time to mess with that now.
I can get the system to run; however, performance is very slow, it's especially noticeable when I use Launchpad, at which point you can watch the screen update, almost line by line.
I've tried too many permutations of Clover, Config.sys files, etc. I'm using Sys Def 18,2. I'm not sure about all the USB ports; however, Ethernet, WiFi & Bluetooth (Add on card), and Onboard Audio all work. The system is just SLOW.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone running a similar system with onboard graphics that would be willing to share their EFI folder?
Thank You
Troy
