I have a similar issue the day after upgrading to 10.14.2 (And I'm sure it worked just fine yesterday). The only way I got it to work for now is to disable IGPU via the BIOS.After searching around, I found that it was likely memory releated, so I tried OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi, OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi, OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi, OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi (all gave runtime errors) and finally back to the original AptioMemoryFix-64.efi... then it kicked and made it through the rest of the installer.

@blouse Are your BIOS settings still the same as those written on the first page? I tried the MacMini8,1 SMBIOS but still don't see clock rates above 4.8GHz in the Intel Power Gadget.
I'm also still experiencing shutdown and sleep issues. Nothing I tried worked so far which is really puzzling.
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel sudo kextcache -system-caches
After the driver installation, it should add a new menu bar icon where you can select the WiFi network.I purchased the wifi adapter you have linked to amazon. Loaded drivers and device is still not showing in network to allow me to use wifi. using the same board as you. In process of updating my signature to reflect. Any suggestions?
EDIT: Got it had to for some reason rebuild kexts using. sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
sudo kextcache -system-caches
It's AptioMemoryFix-64.efi. That Aptio memory driver you will never be able to shut down or sleep in its current form. I finally got mine to work 100%. It's golden on HS and with nVidia.Interesting that you had a similar issue. It is certainly puzzling.
Ultimately I am back with the same exact BIOS settings as written on the first page, with the exceptions:
• XMP profile enabled
• Memory clock set to 3000Mhz
• Multicore enhancement disabled
Sleep and shutdown also do not work for me (restart does), but as I keep my machine up all the time this is a non issue for me.
Thanks for the reply @DenOfLoreIt's AptioMemoryFix-64.efi. That Aptio memory driver you will never be able to shut down or sleep in its current form. I finally got mine to work 100%. It's golden on HS and with nVidia.
@blouse Did you do the SSDT for USB yet? I have have the same board as you, and it's a bit beyond me.
Use this - from corpnewt - https://github.com/corpnewt/USBMap
I go through some of the things he gets wrong or miss communicates in my build lo down.
You NEED to get it to get Bluetooth to work with any Broadcom adapter. It's onboard. It's connected to usb port 14. No SSDT - no Bluetooth.
Pretty interesting. Seems you‘re the only one who has sleep/shutdown working with only aptiomemoryfix. So i guess without emuvariable? Thanks will closely check your efi...Thanks for the reply @DenOfLore
I actually am using AptioMemoryFix-64 and I am able to both sleep and shut down okay! I'm on Mojave 10.14.2 with iMac 18,3.
I'm still having trouble with USB3 despite following the guide and tool from @corpnewt. I went the SSDT route (vs. kext) - which I think you did too? So why are you using exclusions? I thought that was for the kext solution only? Is the build lo down you're referring to in this thread, I couldn't find any other posts of yours with your build.
The specific USB3 issue that I'm facing is that all the USB ports (2 and 3) work fine for USB 2 devices. And if I put a USB3 device into a USB 2 port it's recognized at USB 2 speeds. But if I put a USB 3 device into a USB 3 port, it's not recognized.
I think USB 3 is the only thing keeping me from completing this build. Actually - and maybe this is related - but I haven't gotten headless iGPU working yet either. The FBpatcher tool crashes everytime I go to hit the patch button. @jaymonkey said it could be because Lilu or Whatevergreen were installed incorrectly - but I also trouble shooted that process, and still can't get it to work. I wonder If I can just copy @blouse 's settings?
Thanks for any help you or anyone else can provide! I attached a zip of my EFI folder if it helps.
