setting up a hackintosh properly requires a lot of reading, trial and error. not enough to just use an efi from someone else

I know for sure that everyone that has success with OpenCore didn't give up when they failed a few times.

Not so much giving up, have been running my Hackintosh since 2012. Big Sur is an uphill especially my spec.

Have you tried looking at this EFI setup on Z68 for Big Sur settings?

I'd also suggest to read the very first post in the thread, because it has important pointers as to Opencore issues on Z68 boards, that incorrect settings can corrupt the BIOS. You will need to disable BootProtect in your config.
