EDIT 1: December, 28, 2020 - Updated to Big Sur 11.1 and fixed USB 3.1 ASMedia USB 3.1 controller issues. More info on post 12. Updated kexts, full EFI uploaded - EFI_2020.12.28_BigSur_11.1

EDIT 2:
January, 09, 2021 - Updated to OC 0.6.5 and all the kexts. My motherboard BIOS does NOT have an option to enable/disable the CFG Lock. So I managed to find the offset and I switched it off using this thread. The offset is 0x502 with value 0x00 - off or 0x01 - on (BIOS v. F10b). The Quirks AppleCpuPmCfgLock and AppleXcpmCfgLock are now changed to NO. If you are not sure how to change this, please set them back to YES. Full EFI uploaded - EFI_2021.01.09

EDIT 3:
July, 10, 2021 - Updated to macOS Big Sur 11.4, OC 0.7.1 and all the kexts. Full EFI uploaded - EFI_2021.07.10

Currently upgraded from Catalina 10.15.7 to Big Sur 11.0.1.

Hi there,

thanks for the EFI, I have same MB + CPU as you do (GPU 5700XT, Bt/Wifi pcie card that worked nicely on Mojave), so I thought nice, this would be easy.. Turned out, it is not. After endless hours of trying, I am really not knowing where to go.

Can you please help me with my errors?

This is error log I am getting:

Hi, please update you hardware as requested per site policy.

Regarding the problem you have, update your BIOS to the latest version, load the defaults and do the necessary changes. In my configuration I am using a custom USB port mapping, I have an additional USB PCIe card too. You need to reconfigure all the USB ports according to your configuration and needs. Please read the USB port mapping tutorial. Is your iGPU disabled or not?

Hi I have the same motherboard and cpu, can you upload your plist? I can't get Big Sur working with the EFI you uploaded. :)

What plist do you require?

The EFI attached to the original post contains a config.plist and everything to boot the PC except OpenCanopy menu graphics. Is there something else you think you need?

You do have a different GPU ...

Hi, you can't because you are using iGPU, but I have a dGPU and my iGPU is completely disabled. I'm using iMacPro1,1. Please set SMBIOS iMac18,1 and use platform-id 00001259 and device-id 59120000. Please be sure to config your USBs according to your needs.

Hi sorry, I misunderstood how to get the missing resource files. I got them now, and I also got a GPU now (RX 5700 XT) but the results are the same, where the screen just turns off.

Hi, this GPU is not the same as Polaris (RX500 Series). You need a bootflag agdpmod=pikera to bring your GPU working. There are a lot of threads about the black screen problem. One of them is here

This EFI worked basically out of the box for me on my Asrock z270 ITX build so thanks you! Like above comments suggest, only the dGPU works, the iGPU throws a kernel panic.

Any suggestions on how I might be my Thunderbolt port working again? It was working fine with my clover build, now not working in opencore and I think I might need an SSDT

Thank you very much. :) My system works now, I only need to do the USB-mapping now to get USB C working.

The Radeon RX 5700 XT performs quite well in Metal when running Big Sur. Getting almost 75000 in Metal score in Geekbench. (only got around 40000 when running Catalina)

Will be running Redshift Render and Octane.
