A quick listing of my experiences with this combo: it seems a pretty good fit, basically.

(An earlier version of this build included an Apple Thunderbolt Display through a ThunderboltEX II card connected to DisplayPort; I've abandoned this due to niggles: no-sleep, freezes, and more.)

The machine is currently running with a Dell U2713HM over DisplayPort (@2560x1440) and it'll quite happily run 2x1080p displays over HDMI+DVI at the same time.

Working
* sleep,
* USB 3 (through enabled ports),
* USB audio,
* Apple Magic Mouse + Apple Wireless Keyboard through a GBU521.
* Geekbench 3 score

NB!
* HDMI (over switch) was problematic during install; used DisplayPort (direct) for successful run.
* GBU521 does not appear to play well with running of MultiBeast; better to leave it unplugged during.

Exact build what I've wanted. Great ! :thumbup:

Are you satisfied with that motherboard ?

Are you satisfied with that motherboard ?

Yes. Mind you, I have specific needs (occasional video production and processing) and have not pushed to get everything working 100%. What I have used it for, I've been happy with.

It seems to have been equally solid with BIOS 1204 and 1304.

I gave up on USB through Thunderbolt and changed to a proper Apple Bluetooth + WIFI card for Apple keyboard + mouse but no problems at all since then. Have only used occasional USB gear, though.

I'm afraid I don't know what you mean by spleen.

I still don't have the thunderbolt EXII card.

I was having problems on the normal USB3.0 Ports. Very unstable after first install.
At the moment I'm kinda stable with all 3.0 port because i got rid off the AppleUSBxhci Kext.
I only have bandwidth to 250MB/s and 2.0 Ports are show as 3.0 USB
… also don't know how much XHCI and EHCI in Bios affects.

Any Advice?

How did you sleep getting to work?

Any Advice [about USB]?

Not beyond what's above.

How did you sleep getting to work?

It worked out of the box for me.

(That said, it's not working right now because of an NVIDIA GTX760; with the BIOS settings above, the whole system only uses 20W--25W at idle so I'm just leaving it on.)
