I'm so glad I found this guide. I followed this guide exactly, using audio_cloverALC130.command.zip (https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC) instead of ALC120, and I had to mess around with the EFI partition because I already had windows 8.1 installed. Can confirm it works with 10.13.6, though I don't have any audio through my 1070 (hdmi, displayport). This wasn't an issue for me, as I just use the headphone jack on my motherboard. IMessage works for me, though I haven't really tried anything else.
