[Success] - Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming + i9 10900K + OpenCore

I have tried install the new S.O "Ace Ventura" and work fine and very well, i have copy all old settings Monterey of config.plist and only need change these things for to work fine Ethernet (in config.plist): Delete all patch for I225-V, must delete the boot args e1000=0, not need any kext for Ethernet. Done and Enjoy. (I have update the new OC with the version 0.8.6)

You're correct, Ethernet appears to be working without the KEXT and ACPI file and the e1000=0 line removed. I did have to reset networking to get Ethernet details to appear in System Settings. (it was blank before even though it was working)

I had to do:

• sudo rm /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
• sudo rm /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist

PS. I'm on 0.8.5 at the moment.

OK, here's a build of 0.8.6, as usual let me know how it goes. It should be good to go for Monterey and Ventura.

By the way, have you guys checked out OCAT yet? It's pretty awesome once you get used to it.

The trick to it is you have to <EDIT menu> --> UPGRADE OPENCORE AND KEXTS --> GET OPENCORE right away so it's synced to the latest version:

I would do this without the EFI mounted so you don't step on your config by accident.
