[Success] - Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming + i9 10900K + OpenCore

Hello to all,

I am trying to install Big Sur, but I am constantly stuck at the same moment. Maybe someone came across such a problem and can help me?

I also recorded a complete video of my installation and posted it on YouTube -

Your SSD, which is part of the PM981 series, is not compatible with Mac OS. Use a compatible SSD and it should finish loading.

Yes you were right, I replaced my SSD with another SSD (ADATA SX 8200 PRO) and it worked !! Thank you very much, I spent a lot of time solving this problem!

Guys, can someone tell me what I should do so that bluetooth and wi-fi start working? USBPorts.kext took from EFI 0.75. Even one bluetooth will be enough for me since I have a wired connection to the Internet.

wifi/bluetooth card if it is internal in your machine should be set to internal

also you should only have 15 ports listed

Just for info: I had problems not showing the last update, I tried everything that is suggested and NOTHING

… until I made this change in OpenCore: config.plist > Misc > Security > SecureBootModel and make sure it's set to "Default", from: #6

I have updated the EFI to include this setting, it doesn't seem to have any ill effect on Big Sur. It will be my default going forward.
