Following Tonys Guide made this Install a Brezze I didnt really ran into major Problems. With only the Basic Settings Multi Beast had me up and running in No Time after that it was just installing the right Kexts specific for my Components and kept reading the Install Tutorial till i booted into OS X Lion for the first Time.

I went from OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 - Update Helper - Reboot - Combo Update 10.6.8 , Multi Beast for Snow Leopard only Easy Beast selected - Reboot - No Go Black Screen on Normal Boot Graphics issue with Intel HD3000 - Reboot into Safe Mode back in my Desktop continued install Downloaded OS X Lion from Apple Installed Lion - Reboot - created Installer Partition with Disk Utility - Booted back into Snow Leopard for the last time - ran XMove - reboot into installer partition - reboot Welcome To OS X Lion Graphics Problem stuck at 1024x768 No Problem Multi Beast for Lion changed System Profile to Mac Mini 5.1 - rebooted - And that all she wrote got all the Bell's and Icons.

The only minor problem i have even after 10.7.1 update is No Audio via HDMI.

I am so jealous

I have the exact same motherboard with i3 cpu. I have installed 10.6 but i simply cant update to 10.6.8. i did the normal procedure:
1. run HelperUpdate, then reboot
2. install combo 10.6.8, then run multibeast
After reboot, my monitor stays blank, like its not connected to the GPU.

i think what i am doing wrong is the multibeast part.
I have reformatted and installed 10.6 at least 50 times, PLEASE can you describe in details the multibeast part, what u did and worked?

Did you reboot into SafeMode? I also had Black Screen Problems till i Booted into the Installer to install Lion ! If you only use the Onboard GPU

Nothing fancy but i was trying to get my HDMI Audio to work! Still No Dice
But its Booting just fine into the OS !!

I followed the exact method but i cant boot on 10.6.8 probably due to the graphics card. I tried with safe mode, nothing happened. So i did try with another card and everything worked. I wish there was DSDT file for out mobo

How reliable is your system? I'm building a system for a non tech savvy individual.

Basically, ANY issues that you deal with need to be noted. I understand the lack of Audio over HDMI and that's not an issue in this instance.

Hello Well i had my System running for 2 Weeks now no Problems whatsoever Stable i am just waiting for a DSDT from Tony that hopefully enables the HDMI Audio other than that Its working like a Charm !! Hope that helps Feel free to ask any other Questions you may have

I have an ASUS P8Z68-V LX with an Intel i7-2600k and cannot get the video to work beyond 1024x768 on SL 10.6.8.

I don't care about audio at this point (but will of course, once I get the video working).

(EDIT: I got the sound working )

I've scoured teh intarwebnets for kexts, etc. but have found nothing that works. Any ideas?

Hi, I have a very similar system (well, different mobo, GA-Z86XP-UD4) with the same processor. I installed Lion but I can't get the integrated card to be recognized and I'm stuck at 1024x768. I saw you solved the problem, can you tell me how?
