This is my second hackintosh build. My first build is a Intel i9-7900X; as I recently upgrade it to custom loop, I have a spare case, power supply and AIO cooler. They are used in this new build.

I choose ASRock Phantom Gaming 6 because it come with a M2 WiFi slot. I purchase a BCM94352Z from Taobao, and it worked well with the motherboard. I picked a PowerColor Vega 56 for simple installation.

Installation

Just follow any regular hackintosh Mojave build, and it should work. This post help me most. There are several point worth mentioning:

1. NVRAM on the motherboard do not work properly on Mojave. Follow this post by using slide=0 in Clover Configurator, install driver EmuVariableUEFI-64.efi and OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000, and Install RC Scripts to Target Volume in Clover Installer.
2. Use darkwake=0 to enable sleep.
3. Use WhateverGreen and AppleALC to enable video and audio.
4. Use IntelMausiEthernet to enable built in Intel LAN. Another LAN port is a Realtek RTL8125 2.5G Ethernet seems are not working in Mojave (expected).
5. Use custom FB patch in this post to make Intel UHD 630 work.

What Works

• Audio work properly
• Video work properly with acceleration on Vega 56
• UHD 630 option in Geekbench
• Sleep/Wake work properly
• WiFi and Bluetooth work properly, but will need antenna to have proper signal
• Quick Look, Preview ... etc work as expected
• App Store work as expected
• TRIM is enabled
• All USB ports seems working including USB-C

What not Working

1. I do not have a Thunderbolt card
2. 2.5G Ethernet port does not seems working

Benchmarks

Overclocked to 5.0GHz + Sync All Cores.

Geekbench Single Core: 6596
Geenbench Multi Core: 33893

I have this board with an i7-8700, Sapphire Nitro RX580, and a NVMe SSD drive running Windows 10 and looking to dual boot My case also is the Fractal Design Define R6 USB-C. I have some questions on your USB and type c ports. Wondering if you created a custom SSDT file for the ports or did they all work? I know I would also have USB-C to front of case but that would be the only extra port. Any benefit to having both IGPU and dedicated card enabled together?
