I've got the same issue but with Dual 6900 XT and Dual Radeon VII. Different motherboards, different systems, different OSs. The 6900 XT is on the ASUS Pro WS C621-64L SAGE/10G with Big Sur 11.6.7 and the Radeon VII in on Supermicro X12SPA-TF with Monterey.

On is detected and the second one is just Display. Been working on it for really long time still no luck.
I really don't understand very well the question.

In my System Information in: Graphics / Display I have 2 GPUs now. And in PCI also appears 2 GPUs.

Before when I opened Blender only 1 GPU was showing. After correcting the issue now shows 2 GPUs.

But with the Radeon VII I did not have to create a SSDT for it to show and for I little as I know I think that you don't need to create a SSDT for the 6900XT right?

So your issue is that in both machines only 1 GPU appear?

I think you should give more information as well as upload your EFIs.

Hi. I'm looking to buy a 6600 XT to update my old hackintosh rig (currently with High Sierra and Haswell) and at my local store they have the XFX 6600 XT Speedster Swift 210 quite cheap. Does anyone have any experience with it? It's just a regular 6600 XT?

Thanks

Glad to hear it! No other changes are necessary.

Incidentally, someone just pointed me to this kext, which I haven’t tried myself, but it looks interesting in case you’d like to monitor GPU temp.
I'm using RadeonSensor with 6600xt and it works just like you'd hope

Which AMD graphics card will be needed for running ventura out of the box ? Is it still the AMD RX 580/570 series or AMD 6600/6800/6900 along with their XT versions ?

With the release of Ventura will be implementing a new Metal graphics process, Metal 3.

The RX400/500 series of dGPU's only work with Metal 2.
The RX Vega 56/64, RX 5000 and RX 6000 series dGPU's all work with Metal 3.

So if you are looking for a discrete GPU that works best with Ventura the RX Vega or newer would be needed.

From the Metal (API) article on Wikipedia:

"Metal 3 introduces MetalFX upscaling framework which renders complex scenes in less time per frame with high-performance upscaling and anti-aliasing."

For anyone gaming in Ventura or working in 3D, it's best to use a Metal 3 compatible GPU.

Metal 2 GPUs will still work, Metal 3 support is good to have but isn't a requirement for Ventura. RX 400/500 series cards work with no issues. They just lack MetalFX upscaling. I've used a Radeon Pro WX-2100 and an RX 570 with no problems to report. Even UHD630 graphics have Metal 3 support so there are many options for Ventura.
