So I took the plunge today to try a clean High Sierra on another R6 (my original is still up and running Sierra), but this R6 is an i5, not an i7.Update: I'm currently running High Sierra 10.13.3 without any major issues.
Use my Clover folder(see attachment) to get your system running after installation. (themes folder has been excluded to decrease size of file)
For stable Nvidia Drivers, I used this script to avoid the bad releases.
Went through the normal gyrations, and had good luck except could not get sound working (ALC898), or networking and not all USB ports were working.
So I came back here and saw your post! Tried your CLOVER folder instead of mine but system would not boot (never got past the progress bar which filled up but never progressed). I put my CLOVER folder back, but took all the kexts you had and put them in my Clover KEXT/OTHER folder (which only had 1), and rebooted and now I have sound and networking! YAY!
BUT USB ports are still an issue. Can you help out with what I need to do to get all the USB ports working again? If not all, then at least the front 4, plus some selection of the back ones...
