This build was working great for me for several months until I upgraded to 10.12.5, then the graphics card/integrated graphics both has issues. I was able to select the "Inject Intel" option in the clover boot menu, then updated the nvidia webdriver to the latest version. Now the monitor plugged into the nvidia card work great, but the monitor plugged into the motherboard works but extremely slowly, and at times will slow the entire system down just to render a finder window. I installed the latest "Intel HD 5xx/6xx Graphics" kexts (Lilu.kext and IntelGraphicsFixup.kext) but still have issues. Any idea how to keep the system from grinding to a halt when using the motherboard graphics to render a simple window?
Maybe a problem with hardware acceleration? Look at https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...erra-on-200-series-kabylake-processor.218494/

have you try boot with "nvda_drv=1"?
According to, https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...for-macos-sierra-10-12-5-378-05-05-15.222102/ and installation instructions follow this advisory:

"NOTE: These [NVIDIA alternative] drivers are currently the only method to get full acceleration for GeForce GTX 1050, 1050 Ti, 1060, 1070, 1080, 1080 Ti, TITAN Pascal, and TITAN Xp 'Pascal' graphics cards and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750, 750 Ti, 950, 960, 970, 980, 980 Ti, and TITAN X 'Maxwell' graphics cards. There are no current Macs with these cards, so support is absent natively in macOS."

Am trying to get the USB port limit up. Any specific link on how to do this? I found many different info and tutorial.

- https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-10-11-usb-changes-and-solutions.173616/ the most complete thread about it
- https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/usb-new-raise-port-limit-patch-for-macos-10-12-sierra.202329/ the patch on how to do it with Clover.
- https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-10-11-usb-changes-and-solutions.173616/ some older info for 10.
- https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/10-11-0-10-11-3-skylake-starter-guide.179221/#DetailedUSB some older info to check the USB
- https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-10-11-usb-changes-and-solutions.173616/page-245 : some pertinent discussion between @vaquilha and @RehabMan
- https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/osx-el-capitan-tips-for-fixing-intel-usb.174002/ - older El Capitan thread for fixing USB.

So, how should we proceed?

Final thought : seems it's actually not possible to raise that limit above 15 USB port.

Edit:
6.5.2017 - typo and links
6.5.2017 - updated final thought

okay, so you got everything done and basically want to have more than 15 USB working?

The 15 port limit is per injector personality. I get the impression, you could ask RehabMan about it, that if you have a second injector, it can also inject 15 ports. RehabMan has injectors up on his GitHub, linked on 10-11-usb-changes-and-solutions.

that thread is really great but its more like a resource for everything you might need to do.

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-creating-a-custom-ssdt-for-usbinjectall-kext.211311/

this is much more practical and actually what you do to configure usbinjectall.kext (it's easy)

Hi to all, learned a ton with this build but i need help. I'm something doing wrong but i cannot figure what.

Step by step:
Because i don't have access to any mac i created VMware virtual environment, there downloaded macOS Sierra 10.12.5 installation.
  • Formated 16gb usb with disk utility,
  • downloaded files from first page
  • Instaled UEFI Clover bootloader,
  • copied kexts in clover/kext/other,
  • deleted all numbered folders in clover/kext
  • SSDT's copied in ACPI/patched
  • created my serial and mbl in clover configurator and copied config.plist onto EFI
  • copied installation using sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app --volume /Volumes/Sierra script on usb stick,
  • restarted pc,
  • did bios setup like suggested,
Setup was ok until end when i came across "the installer payload failed signature check" error.
Checked my date/time in bios, it was ok, disabled onboard GPU, run ntpdate -u time.apple.com script in terminal, changed usb port, even tried to match time in bios with ntpdate -u time.apple.com and still didnt managed to finish installation.

Also, could someone check if config.plist is ok?

Could you guys help me out a bit, its driving me crazy? :)

So sorry for my sloppy English :*
