Ok,
Sry im late on this thread, but i succesfully installed Leopard on my Dell 1558.
My specs are:
i7 Clarksfield
Mother Dell: 0874P6
BIOS: A11
SB: HM55
RAM: 4gb
VGA: ATI Mobility HD Radeon 5400 Series
I installed using iBoot default, a Retail SL DVD and applying 10.6.5 patch and multibeast easystep.
I have Sound, Trackpad, Network LAN, and almost all the common things working on, i dont have the Wireless working (yet) but i thing it will be possible some day.
I repartitioned my HD 500gb using DU from Mac OSX DVD Install and after that applied the backup i did previously with ghost, now i have 5 partitions, and dual booting with SL and W7.
And the last thing, i didnt get any kext or something like that working on yet, because im such a n00b with this things, but is quite interesting =) and i like that.
Cheers! and Gratz to everyone who help us to do this working on
Special thanks to you tonymacx86 & macman for doing this possible for us, simple mortals =]
