Hello. Recently, I've started trying to install El Capitan on my computer and I've been failing miserably. I managed to make a USB stick of El Capitan using Unibeast on a Yosemite VM, and after several tries with using different flags and changing BIOS settings, I am stuck at the current kernel panic:

Note that I have checked and double checked my BIOS settings and referenced them to several posts I found around here, but I didn't really mess around with any Clover settings more than nv_disable=1. I think it has something to do with the CPU though, but I have no clue of how I could fix this so, please, someone help me out.

Seriously? And there's no way to bypass that? AMD processors are not supported and it's still possible.

An update on what I've been doing. Got the new 10.11.5 and made a new installation media, also added Ivy Bridge fake id in Clover and now I am getting a different kernel panic:

Any idea about this one?

Edit: Got it working with cpus=1 as argument and I am currently installing it. Quite a hassle because my HDD was in MBR format and had to switch to GPT, but it's ok now. As of what I'm seeing in the installer, the GPU was recognized with Clover NVidia Injection (I'm on native 1080p and the acceleration seems to work well also). Also, it worked without unplugging anything (ethernet cable, usb 2's and 3's). I'll be back with more info when I finish the installation.

So, for everyone that's gonna want to do this using similar hardware I'm going to give you some tips as to the current state of my machine. I used MultiBeast with everything from FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement (this will get you through without using cpus=1, and at the moment I see my CPU is running in the exact parameters that it should, only difference is it is recognised as a i5), RTL8111 2.21 Kext for LAN (working perfectly at the maximum speed), Nvidia Injector (the GTX550Ti is running perfectly with the Clover injection, acceleration and everything I need) and iMac 13,2 definition. I also added the following line to KernelAndKextPatches to mask the CPUID and make the OS think it's an Ivy Bridge CPU:

<key>FakeCPUID</key>
<string>0x0306C0</string>

Right now, my only pressing problem is the sound, which didn't work with the two ALC887 specific drivers I had found, I will try VoodooHDA though which should take me out of this problem.

These are the results:

Edit: Got audio to work by first using the patch from http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/10-11-0-10-11-3-skylake-starter-guide.179221/ ; restarting then using audio_CloverALC-110 from https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC ; After restarting everything is working great now. The major issue I'm experiencing at the moment is a random freeze, I'm still trying to figure out where it's coming from. The system randomly freezes up after a period of time. I will try to generate an SSDT for my CPU hoping it will fix this issue.

Edit2: Generated an SSDT using the following guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/quick-guide-to-generate-a-ssdt-for-cpu-power-management.177456/ (switched SMBIOS to iMac 17,1); the GPU had issues which were resolved by adding the kext patch from Problem 4 Method 1 - http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solving-nvidia-driver-install-loading-problems.161256/

As of now, the Hackintosh seems stable, haven't experienced any more freezes, will be back if any more info is needed. If you follow most of the stuff I wrote in this post, you should certainly be able to make a machine with similar hardware run properly.

Hi, ThisIsGCH
Is HD510 working successfully with QE/CI?

Hello, I didn't try to use my internal GPU and I can't since I don't have a HDMI cable, I'm sorry but I can't help you with this information.

Is it possible H170 Mother Board with G4400 ??

You'll never know until you try. Just make sure to use a Fake CPUID (and cpus=1 bootflag until you can install NullCPUPowerManagement kext).

Hi ThisIsGCH
I'm interested in this subject. I have already a post about the Pentium G4400. I pretend to build an smal budget OS X machine, but using only the g4400 hd 510 integrated graphics. I still do not know much about it. But I would like to give my modest contribution. I think many people are interested in this kind of build.
So, as you are an G4400 expert, I would like to ask you if you could analyze this video to see if the guy really found the solution or not.
Thank you very much.
