i have iogear gpu421 does NOT work In 10.8.2. (worked fine in Lion). been looking for weeks trying to figure this one out. must be either a kext, dsdt, or boot plist lissue?
Magic Trackpad devicemergenub.kext edited with device id

got my 3rd monitor working thusly,
assuming DSDT, info.plist, and smbios.plist are correct for motherboard.

using Gigabyte gv-r6870c-1gd amd radeon series HD 6870

secret, for me, was a dummy mini-display/dvi adaptor in 2nd mini display port.

1-top mini display port = active mini display to dvi adaptor with NOTHING CONNECTED
2-2nd min display port = active mini display to dvi adaptor with dvi to hdmi cable running to TV
3-HDMI port = hdmi to DVI adaptor to DVI monitor
4-DVI port = DVI to DVI monitor

TA DA!

This works on Yosemite 10.10.5?

I ordered these cheapo Bluetooth dongles from AliExpress two years ago for US $0.73 apiece (including postage). These two seem to be the same product, at least they use the same images. High Sierra does not recognize the dongle but lshw on Linux gives this information.

description: Bluetooth wireless interface
product: Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
vendor: Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd
physical id: 2
bus info: usb@5:2
version: 19.15
capabilities: bluetooth usb-2.00
configuration: driver=btusb speed=12Mbit/s

Cambridge Silicon Radio is now part of Qualcomm. Their Vendor ID is 0x0a12. This old discussion says the Product ID is 0x0001.

My plan was to use them inside my Power Mac G5 hack with the original back panel connectors and wiring. I would solder the MHF miniature connector to the dongle where the antenna is and leave the dongle inside the case. I might actually do it, if someone sends me an original Power Mac G5 Bluetooth antenna. :)

(Nice photo they use on AliExpress. Does it really work on a Power Mac G5?!)
