Stuck upon install from USB (GA-X79-UD3 4820k GTX 760)

Hi all

I Have been trying to install Mountain Lion for a long time now, I have tried to switch between old graphiccards like Radeon 5850 and 5870
And also my new GTX 760

My spec is:
GA-X79-UD3
4820K
GTX760
16GB RAM

I get to the point where I see the white/grey apple page with logo upon install, but then it just freezes there.
I tried to boot with -v -x resulting in that I am able to view the files being loaded until the end. Then when it looks like it has loaded all the files the screen goes black and never comes back on.

I have also tested with
npci=0x3000
CPUS=1
GraphicsEnabler=No
npci=0x3000

but with the same results, the screen goes black after loading all files.

What is wrong?

Unsupported CPU. You need a custom kernel to boot. Not yet supported for a vanilla installation. May need to wait for the new Mac Pro.

How do I create a custom kernel? Is it even worth trying?

A custom kernel has been used to support new architectures for os x for a long time. There was one for Sandy bridge, Ivy-bridge and Haswell. They were all eventually added to the regular "vanilla" kernel. For this specific architecture, you will have to look somewhere else since it is not supported here.

Thanks for telling me things that really not help

I have compiled a new kernel based on what I saw a 4930k user had done:

I was able to perform a full installation but now when I once again try to boot up and copy the kernel from the USB onto the HDD I am not able to reaccoplish that. The computer freezes all the time before usb install bootup completes.

any luck with your installation?
The insanelymac link is interesting, but it didn't solve my problem (to be honest I'm not that great with kernel-patching etc.), so I thought that you might have had any luck.
