Hi,

I'm trying to install Big Sur (11.6.8), and getting desperate about making it work...

I followed this guide:

I'm stuck during the USB installer on with error "lowest level disk is not mounted" and "generation from SMC report as 2"

I have:

  • MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk Wifi
  • i7-12700F
  • Samsung 2TB 980 Pro NVMe
  • MSI GT 710

=======
Edit 23-7-22: I've added screenshots of the DeviceProperties in my config.plist because the naming of the devices and the slot-names seems odd to me. I also have no Audio Device installed like @NorthAmTransAm so I should probably delete this device?
Perhaps someone can take a look at this.
=======
Edit 26-7-22: still no clue; I did remove the above audio device but it did not help. Can perhaps somebody give me an hint where to look at least? is it Booting, Usb, kernel? any suggestion are most welcome!

Unfortunately, all I can say is that these are very interesting errors… I had never seen them before.
