No I am NOT quite understood what you were trying to explain. Perhaps you should also update your signature profile to reflect your current BUILD such as Motherboard Type/CPU model/and Graphic Card.

There absolutely no mention what graphic card you are using except for the motherboard model and i7-2600 (Non K) version)

Couple of things to note here.
-You are using i7-2600 (not K) version which has HD2000 NOT HD3000, so it WILL NOT be supported on OSX Lion or Snow Leopard. If you managed to get the graphic going, it will be stuck at 1 resolution with no QE/CI
-"Still waiting for root device" if you google it, there will be various explanations and conditions causing this to show up
-With the CPU you are using i7-2600, you will definitely need a dedicated [compatible/supported] graphic card.

only specific model of Sandy Bridge CPU supports HD3000 graphic. The particular i7-26xx has to be i7-2600K.

In BIOS setting, you must allocate the right amount of memory for the onboard graphic.
