  • I think your CLOVER/kexts/Other folder is OK.
  • Your CLOVER/drivers 64UEFI may be OK but can try adding EmuVariableUefi-64.efi,*** later if needed
  • It can be edited after one more trial with this edited config.plist I am uploading.
  • ***If it is still not progressing in Verbose boot add the EmuVariableUefi-64.efi I am uploading to /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI.

Thank you, after some trial and error, it’s booted!

I have a question though, the resolution is completely wrong, way too low for my monitor.

I’ve looked and can’t change it in Display preferences, how would I do it? Possibly because OS X is detecting the Build as in iMac, so it won't give options to change?

Also, the OS doesn’t detect that I have WiFi, is there a way to fix this?

Can you explain what trials you had to do . Did yo have to make any other changes to uploaded config.plist?
Did you have to make any other changes to /CLOVER/kexts/Other?
Did you alter the original contents of the /drivers64UEFI?

All of the above information is necessary for me to correctly consider what additional steps I have to think through in the next step.

To enable you to boot , I had changed the FakeID of Intel GFX to 12345678 (which is just 8 random numbers)
I had not done anything else to the CLOVER I had previously edited extensively in kexts folders and drivers64UEFI..
The above step was base on my suspicion that the FakeID I had chosen before may not be right and hence Graphics Freeze.

At present your Intel is running on Basic Video. To get full acceleration we have to figure out the Right ig-platform-id and Fake ID if any for the Device.
Now we have to see how to set Graphics to work OK.

Unfortunately with the current 300 Series boards and Coffee Lake CPU with Intel HD 630, this has become difficult issue.

We wil have to do quite a bit of troubleshoot.

To do that I need answers to all my above listed questions and also Screen Captures of the following:
Apple_AboutThisMac_Overview_ MacOSMojave Version (xxxxxxx)

System Report _Hardware_HardwareOverview
Audio to WiFi under hardware
Do NOT hurriedly go for Multibeast Install on this newly booted System Disk without CLOVER.
Let us think through ; else you will go for another Marathon troubleshoot and frustration.
Until we decide the future steps, use the Installer to boot to CBM screen and switch to Mojave SSD.
That is another reason I asked all the earlier questions.

Mainly myself being stupid and trying to use an SSD which had a version of Linux installed on it, without formatting it first.

I used the uploaded config.plist and that worked first time, from Clover into the OS, so thanks so much for that.

I’ve uploaded photos that you need, although I wasn’t sure what you meant regarding the “Audio to WiFi under hardware”

Thank you again for the support.

The images from System report were on how devices like Audio, Ethernet , Graphics, USB, WiFi alphabetically listed under "Hardware" in the screen that opens when you click open System Report.
I wanted to see whether those Devices have drivers and are working OK from your uploaded screen captures.

I am loading a few as samples.

System Report is like the Device Manager of Windows 10.

Screen capture is done using the following steps in Mac
to get good full view as you can see them on your Display.

  • Open the screen to capture to your view
  • Press Windows key(CMD) + Shift key+ 4 (NOT F4)
  • This causes a Cross-hair Mouse Cursor to appear on screen
  • Next use the Left Mouse button pressed, to drag the Crosshair cursor from Left upper corner of the screen you are viewing to its Right Lower Corner and let go on mouse button to drop the rectangular screen captured on the Desktop.
  • Open it on Preview to edit if you like or at least rename to show what it is about.
  • Upload the screen

Thank you for the step by step there - Renamed appropriately and all uploaded.
Thank you for your uploads.
I find your Graphics kexts are not working and your WiFi has no kexts.
Your Gigabyte WiFi won't work as its Intel Chipset has no driver support in Mojave
Your options are:
A WiFi PCIE card that is supported or a USB wifi Dongle.
EX: Fenvi FV-T919 Wireless AC1300 Dual Band PCI Express Wi-Fi Adapter, Support Hackintosh / Mac OS / Windows 10, ...
.
For your Graphics, to get full Resolution, you need to edit CLOVER from the EFI of your System Disk.
You will also have to install the latest Lilu.kext, WhateverGreen.kext (and AppleALC.kext) into /Library/Extensions folder

Please upload CLOVER from System Disk as a Zipped file.

You may use the steps from #4 but mount the EFI Partition of HDD instead of USB's (The initial steps are common for both USB and HDD 's EFI mounting)

Thank you, I didn't realise that the chipset wasn't supported in Mojave. I'm going to buy a Wi-Fi adapter.

I have attached Clover.zip.

  • Based on your uploaded CLOVER these are my suggestions to see if you can fix your Graphics. Not sure about success as I don't have your EXACT MoBo +CPU to try the fix.
    • Using the same method open CLOVER/kexts/Other and copy and paste the uploaded IntelgraphicsFixup.kext after unzip and extract
    • Click CLOVER/config.plist and Right click>Open with: CCG.
    • Go to SECTIONS on the Top Left Panel of CCG windows >Devices > Fake ID and change IntelGFX invalid 0x12345678 Fake ID to: 0x3E928086 [See Image to help orient]
    • Save edited config.plist using 2nd Arrow from Left Panel Bottom. [See green arrow on image]
  • Reboot with this and Recheck System Report Graphics & Display.> Screen shot to upload
