Thank you for your reply. I have indeed changed the Serial Ports to disabled in the BIOS.

I seem to be encountering numerous errors, and have again attached my screenshots.

One I see multiple times is “please switch to XPC or bootstrap_check_in”

That is what I would call a "Soliloquy of the code"; probably a style used by those who wrote those codes. It is something like some people talking to themselves (some times curse words) when driving when they see a guy making a sudden lane change on to your lane in front, showing no turn signal before making that sudden lane change, almost causing a collision!

  • I won't be worried about it; it is not causing any harm but a scare!
  • In my uploaded successful Mojave installs I have them.

  • All I see is in your verbose boot is evidence of "Graphics hang on verbose".

  • I want you to do two things to clarify this.
  • Force Reboot to CBM screen >Options > Graphics Injector -> take a photo of that screen to upload.
  • Make sure : the following are already there or create if needed:
[√]Inject Intel
Fake id : 0x 59128086
*-platform-id 0x59120000

  • Take a photo after these are entered and return

  • Next go down to System Parameters and move on to System Integrity Protection and take a photo to upload before editing if needed.

  • Check the image I uploaded and compare with your above screen .
  • If it is not exactly matching mine, change the check box contents [√] to match
  • Take a photo after the edit to upload.

  • Now return and reboot and take verbose image to upload.

  • Post the images you have taken for me to verify.

Thank you so much for you advice.

I’ve done as you said, and have run in Verbose again and have uploaded screenshots.

After the final screen, it goes to reboot as normal, but is acting like the computer is in Hibernation (there’s power to the build and all lights are on, fans running etc, but unlike before, nothing on my monitor at all, the monitor has turned off as it has detected no signal)

I think your default Graphics may be better but SIP must be Disabled and Verbose boot image uploaded to see what happens.

If no change config.plist ACPI editing may be needed.

This time , force reboot and Do not make any changes in Graphics, use what you had which is NO [√] anywhere but do edit the System Parameters _SIP like my uploaded image Before and boot in verbose.
I am uploading the System Parameters _SIP screen again for your convenience.

Thanks, I have done so, and uploaded the outcome.

I had inject intel ticked before any editing under “graphics injector” so have kept that ticked as you said not to edit anything. Was that correct?

  • Still the Graphics issue.
  • I have edited config.plist ACPI along with SIP Disabled and Graphics given a Fake ID 3E928086 with NO ig-platform-id.

  • Please Change existing config with this edited config.plist in the USB's EFI>EFI>CLOVER/config.plist using CCG and boot with that in Verbose .

  • I want to reconfirm with you that you did have BIOS Intel Processor Graphics Enabled and DVMPT Pre-Allocated Memory set minimum 64. Right?

I will go and check those Graphics you had previously uploaded Fromm your earlier thread.
I cannot recall everything as I got so many BIOS from many troubleshoots to remember!

I have internal graphics in BIOS under chipset set to auto, but have just changed to Enabled, and DVMT Pre-Allocated set to 64M, yes.

I’ll be honest, I’m not 100% that I changed the config.plist correctly, but here are the screenshots from the latest boot in verbose.

It looks like I have though, as the Fake ID is in CLOVER.

I am uploading an edited Verbose boot to show you how I diagnosed graphics as the last stage problem.
The image will list areas of problem leading to Graphics Freeze and where to look and fix.
The more you know about what is being done the more you can do from your end to solve.

. Don't worry it can happen after a long troubleshoot .
Upload the whole CLOVER as zipped I will check it again to see everything is going OK.

Thanks, I've uploaded CLOVER.

Will need to do some significant research regarding kexts and such to expand my knowledge and understanding as its severely lacking!
