Hi, I've installed Snow Leopard (in order to buy ML later) from my Retail DVD. After installation completed, I've ran UpdateHelper, reboteed, ran OSXUpdate 10.6.8 and then reboteed and now I'm stuck at Apple Logo. What can I do? Sorry for my English :)

Can't help but mine is freezing at the point so also would love an answer to this.

multibeast

Hey, when you ran multibeast did you use a dsdt or did you use Easybeast?

I found i had the same issue when i installed, in the end it was down to the fact that i had not carefully selected KEXTS in Multibeast,

You have to install kexts relevant to your machine.

I've tried either with DSDT and Easybeast, but still nothing..

P.S. I have a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev.1.3

I had the same problem. I solved that typing PCIRootUID=0 instead of -v
But if you don't want to type that every time you reboot go to Finder/[Name of your installation disk]/Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist and type PCIRootUID=0 under Kernel Flags. This is an example:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>arch=i386 npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
</dict>
</plist>

Still nothing, I'm still stuck at apple logo

Please try this modified install version of the TM iBOOT and Multibeast installer.

You should have a DSDT file and use the Apple 10.6.8 combo update version 1.1
Which is the last update from Apple for OSX

How to due a sandybridge cpu w compatable hardware OSX hack 10.6.8 build. jester969

Typical installation steps are:
1) iBoot + Disk Utility + install Snow Leopard DVD (perform install via DVD) reboot
2) iBoot + Installed OSX HDD (boot with iBoot and loading OS via newly installed HDD) - get welcome screen
3) Run Update Helper and Reboot?
4) iBoot + Installed OSX HDD, run combo update 10.6.8 , DO NOT reboot
5) Run Multibeast and select option which are required to your board.
6) Reboot w/out iBoot

Audio/Ethernet/DSDT

DSDT and BIOS firmware must match to the corresponding number.
