Hi there!
I really could use some help. I'm trying to install Catalina on a computer with Asus ROG Maximux XII Extreme, a Intel i9 10900K and a RTX 2080, with 64 GB RAM.
I followed the steps here at tonymacx86, using UniBeast. I created the USB drive, I get to the Clover menu, and when I select Boot macOS Install from Install macOS Catalina I get stuck at the apple logo. No progress bar, nothing at all.
If I check the verbose mode, this is what I get (see attached).
I followed some videos with the reccommended BIOS settings, so that should be ok. I also tried with the USB pen in different USB ports...
Can anyone help me please? I am a little bit lost.
Thanks!

There are no Mac drivers for your RTX 2080, you can however use the integrated UHD Graphics 630 of your processor.

Replace the graphics card with one that is supported or replace the motherboard with one that supports integrated graphics.

Unfortunately, as pointed out, the RTX 2080 is not supported on MacOS, and your motherboard does not have a graphics port at the back which means you can't use CPU integrated graphics either.

So in this case, if you still want to install and run MacOS, you have to

(1) replace your graphics card with one with MacOS support, such as a RX 5700 XT (Catalina / Big Sur), but as we all know new graphics cards are almost impossible to find or are prohibitively expensive right now, or

(2) replace your motherboard with one that has a supported graphics port (DisplayPort / HDMI recommended) at the back so you can use CPU integrated graphics while keeping the RTX 2080 (but you will have to find a way to disable the 2080 in MacOS in this case).

May be it is better for you to consider using another compatible system to install and run MacOS instead of trying to use your current system.
