Hi community,

I've been trying to avoid seeking help here, but I'm at a loss now.
Since I'm quarantined at home I decided to reboot my old hackintosh.
I had it working quite well with Mavericks installed and my objective is to update it all the way up to Catalina.
I've read that the shortest path is to update to Yosemite, then update to El Captain and finally Catalina.
I managed to update it to Yosemite but I can't get it to boot without my unibeast USB.
I'm trying to use Multibeast with the DSDT specific to my motherboard and correcting PCIRootUID=1 and EnableGraphics=Yes, correcting this because this is what I need to get unibeast booted.
Please see my config below:
Please help!
Thanks!

Why worry about booting from HDD/SSD in the intermediate stages? Boot with the USB until you have installed Catalina, mount the EFI partition, delete the EFI folder, then run MultiBeast to install Clover, add your DSDT to the ACPI folder and replace the config.plist from MultiBeast with the one from the USB.

Hi Going Bald,

Thank you, it makes sense.
I'm only able to boot on safe mode (-x) right now.
Would this still work considering this?
My network is fortunately working.

Thanks,
