I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I've noticed what appears to be strange drive capacity (SSD) reporting in about this mac. The graphic bar would seem to indicate that the drive is approximately 75% full however the text says there is 430 GB free of 479.

The SSD in question is a SanDisk Ultra.

See attachment.

Used Multibeast 7.1.1 | Trim enabler enabled.

I also tried turning trim enabler off but the reporting is the same.

Is there something wrong, is this normal, or am I just missing something dumb?

Thanks for any comments.

I saw this happen on my MacBook Pro Retina when the SSD drive started failing. It started to report that there was more free space then the drive contained, 750 GB Free on a 512 GB SSD.

I ran disk utility and there were no errors reported at all. I believe that in fact there is 430GB free based on what is installed and the apps usage (green part of bar) is being reported wrong.
