Interesting. I'm using iMac18,3 w/o any problems. Are you running High Sierra 10.13.4?
Yessir. I have everything working too.

Sound
Handoff/Continuity/Imessage

Sleep/Wake

3D acceleration

The works.

I will be doing a full build breakdown, but for now it's running stock 14,2

:ch: Important! Due to a quirk with Apple's cache (see the Note in MultiBeast v10.2.0 Announcement), you'll need to rerun MultiBeast v10.2.0 selecting only the following:
:ch: Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALC1220
:ch: Drivers > Audio > 100/200/300 Series Audio
:ch: Build > Install
My mobo (Asus TUF Mk2 Z270) has an 887 Codec.
I'm running Multibeast over and over and still didn't get audio.

Do you have some advice to 887 codec?

In the Terminal:
Code:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions/
If that doesn't work, try the MultiBeast Audio selecting only:
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALC8xx > ALC887
Build > Install
Don't reboot, yet. Run the above command and then reboot.

@Stork I solved the issue with 18,3. I had to configure the following -

Advanced\System Agent(SA)\Configuration\Graphics Configuration

Primary Display PEG

The default was auto. That was the only change I made and I went from black screens to being able to log in.

As had it set to Auto, too, I made the change, and I could apply the 10.13.4 Security Update without get a freeze/Kernel Panic. Dunno why. But, I'll take it.

5. Press the BIOS Flashback button for three seconds until the Flashback LED blinks three times, indicating that the BIOS Flashback function is enabled.
Where is this Flashback LED which is used during BIOS update? I can't find it?

Wish me luck. I'm ready to power on.

In Post #1, see the picture in of the Rear Panel with the Flashback LED, on the left. The LCD and the BIOS "USB Flashback button" are in a "stack" with LCD on top and the button on the bottom.
