Hello everyone.
My old hackintosh has definitely left me so I bought new pieces, with the hope of being able to create a new hackintosh.
The components are:

Asus Maximux VIII Hero (Z170)

Intel I7-6700K

16GB DDR4 3200 Trident Z

Samsung 960 EVO 250GB

The idea is to install with the key on the Samsung NVE M.2, but just part of the installation appears suffered a Kernel Panic.
I know it 's NVE is still a little premature, but by following a few posts here and going on RehabMan site I created for Sierra 10.12.3 file and put it in EFI in cartrella Kext.
No way.
Obviously no M.2 media inserted the installation continues, but I wanted to try to find a solution to insert OSX there.
Can someone help me?
I am attaching the screenshot.

moreftpgmail,

I have a M.2 NVMe SSD in my Gene system. Check out how I used the M.2 NVMe SSD in my Gene build description. (Link in my signature block.)

Hey stork is this natural? To have so high frequency but also so much cpu idle?

Did you use the SSDT for power management that I included in the build description?
...
Making the UniBeast USB Thumb Drive

Use the tonymacx86 guide UniBeast: Install macOS Sierra on Any Supported Intel-based PC. Note: your USB Thumb drive needs to have 7.63 GB of free space to build the UniBeast installation thumb drive. Otherwise, you'll need a 16GB USB thumb drive which is a better size so you can copy the following items to the thumb drive for use in the post installation phase:
:ch: MultiBeast v9 for Sierra which you can probably put on a 8GB USB thumb drive, but a 16GB drive is best
:ch: EFI Mounter V3
:ch: KextBeast which you'll use to install the Codec Commander kext
:ch: For proper processor power management, get the SSDT for your processor from ammulder's Guide and rename it SSDT.aml; I chose the SSDT for my i7-6700K. Note: ammulder's SSDTs are for non overclocking speeds; for overclocking, you'll need to create a SSDT for your processor using PikeRalpha's ssdtPRGen.sh script located here.
:ch: Rehabman's Codec Commander kext for making the audio (after wakeup from sleep) work which we'll install using KextBeast
:ch: Clover Configurator for fine tuning
:ch: (Optional) the nVidia Web drivers for the Maxwell chipset cards (750, 750 Ti, 950 Ti, etc). See tonymacx86's sticky thread in the Graphics forum section or the tonymacx86 driver list.

Its miss typing :/ sorry about that I have exactly the same build as yours except the gpu i use intel hd 530. I added some kexts for alc1150 because following your guide , i hadnt sound. Maybe is this the problem?

Hi Stork,

It looks to me there is a new "non beta" BIOS update for the HERO:
MAXIMUS VIII HERO BIOS 3201
- Improved CPU compatibility
- Fixed wake-up function when using some PCIE devices.
- Improved keyboard compatibility when “Fast Boot” enabled.
- Fixed DRAM frequency read display error in OS.
- Improved DRAM XMP compatibility over 4200MHz.
- Fixed Plextor M.2 device issue.
- Modified OA key function in legacy OS.

Did you already test it?

best
Michael
