Both iMac17,1 and 18,1 do not work. However, I notice that I have the arrangement tab in Display settings. However, still a black screen and the monitor goes to sleep.

Please post the config.plist that gave you the arrangement tab.

Hmm... Are you sure this is the correct one? This config.plist is using iMac16,2 system definition.

Yes. The arrangement tab came back after I copied the EFI back to my machine yesterday. Its back in 16,2 , 17,1 and 18,1.

Are you at least getting acceleration now? When you look in System Information > Graphics/Displays, does it show as Metel being supported?

Also in System Information, do you see two displays listed?


Have you tried adjusting the resolution and/or refresh rate on the display that isn't showing anything?

This is what I have. It appears the only difference between the 2 is that the one that is working has a refresh rate of 59.88 (NTSC) while the other is 60. I am unable to change the refresh rate on either of them.
