I have no experience with the Intel 600p series SSDs. I recommend you review the OS X Driver for NVMe M.2 Solid State Drives Released Thread.

This is a solid guide. Have been enjoying this little beast of a board for more than 6 months now.

Just put in 2x980Ti Hybrids with radiators sitting on the roof of the Phanteks Evolv mATX case. Things are running smooth.

I am wondering though if there is a way to put back in the OSXWifi card somehow? The second GPU is covering the 1x slot.

I tried a PCIe extension cord and it's a no go. Mobo has an error code of 99 and doesn't boot (Yes I thought I put it in wrong, but it was put in correctly). When I take out the extension it boots fine. I even built a little box to put the OSXWifi inside the walls of the case with taped WiFi/BT antennas in the case. I kind of gave up and using Ethernet for now. Continuity would be nice though.

    EDIT:

BTW is it worth using 17,1 instead of 14,2? I'd like to keep using 14,2 so I don't have to deal with the black screen fix after every update.

If 17,1 will give more speed to the CPU, will definitely switch though.

I've never noticed any speed differences.

    Thank you for checking!
Will stay on 14,2 for now. I know 14,2 supports Speed Step...using Intel Power Gadget, I can see that CPU power features seem to be supported properly.

I have the same specs except for the video card, I'm using the Intel 530. I was using my 720p tv as monitor and just bought a 4K tv and the tv won't recognize the computer

According to the GENE User's Manual, page 9,
So, you'll need a HDMI cable that supports HDMI 1.4b signals.

Do you mean the VGA port? (VGA port won't work in OS X/macOS as Apple hasn't supported it in a decade or more.) Or by VGA do you mean your graphics card?

For the 970 to be correctly recognized, you'll need to use the Nvidia drivers and the Clover config.plist modification as described in the first post's installation procedures.

Sorry that is my mistake. I mean VGA like as graphic card, not VGA output on them.

Actually I have installed web driver, but nVidia Driver manager doesn't see any graphic card in PCI slots.'

As you can see in attached images I have applied changes in config.plist for Clover, but It doesn't work. It's clean install of macOS Sierra 10.12.2 (16C68). I was trying system definition iMac14.2, iMac17.1, MacPro5.1, MacPro6.1. Right now I have defined iMac17.1 and It's probably the worst configuration, because I have many fragments during typing that post :(.
