"Still waiting for root device"

Hello. I bought Mountain Lion today and after following a tutorial and running MultiBeast then rebooting OS X stalls at the boot screen. When I booted with the verbose bootflag I noticed it's stalling at "Still waiting for root device". No idea why it's stalling there. Lion ran perfectly fine.

Specifications:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
Graphics Card: Gigabyte HD 6850
Processor: Intel i5 Sandy Bridge

I have this same issue! I haven't tried the solution yet but apparently it can be fixed, check out my thread:

for the fix. It worked for me. The script will patch the IOAHCIBlockStorage kext to cause its start to be delayed by 200ms. I can't post the original URL because the forum software here formats http://www.insanely-mac.com with a - between insanely and mac but there is no - between the two words… I hate stuff like this… well the old forum was better…

Thanks guys! I tried the patch and it fixed my issue.
