SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME OUT! I have been trying to install Mountain Lion on my Samsung Laptop and i have run into many dead ends. Either i get still waiting for root device or there is a prohibited circle sign with the apple logo when i try to boot into the installer. I havent even installed Mountain Lion yet. It only went to the installer once with no mouse and i accidentally shut down and I cant get it back. I do have laptop support on the boot disk. Anyhelp please!! I will give more information ASAP. Thanks in advance!:beachball:

Its a Samsung Series 7 17" Laptop. It has a 17-3615QM processor, NVIDIA GT650M Graphics Card, 240GB SSD,

i have tried -x, -v, -s, pcirootuid, basically alot. and yes i have optimus.

Why, would optimus be doing something?

I have no option to disable it in bios.... :(

Is there anything else i can do? When i do try to boot, it tells me that the NVIDIA Rom Patching failed... could that mean something. BTW no modded bios found.... :(:banghead:
