Still waiting for root device error

Hello I've tried your booting way and it successfily passed the "still waiting for root device error" :thumbup:
But now i got this error if u can help I noticed that bring in the solution that I've beeing searching for about 2 days and I hope you help with that the error is attached (a picture) I am stuck on that last line for about 4-5 hours

Specs :
Intel core i3
4gb ram ddr3
Intel hd graphics 3000 2gb

Hi, i had this issue too, and i just chage USB port without restart the installation and worked. I hope this help to someone.
 
Somebody PLZ Help me My Build is as follows:

Mainboard: Gigabyte X79-UD3
CPU: Intel Core I7 3820 Sandy Bridge - E
Memory: 4 sticks 4 GB Each Kingston DDR3
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7700

I successfuly get into colover and use the following boot flags :
-v
npci=0x3000
PCIRootUID=1
cpus=1

When i boot everything goes fine until after missing Bluetooth controller transport , it doesnt fail here but right after that i get the "still waiting for root devices" and the probitied sign error. i tried multiple diff ports on my computer and editied my kexts and still havent made any progress beyond this. Any Help What So Ever Will Be Appreciated :) Above Are My errors sorry for the extra part lmaoo

hi abdullahansari14, this problem from your monitor connector, change your connection from vga to hdmi o dvi, problem mat be fix, this way fix it for me.
for error "still waiting for root device" change your usb port.
 
In my case changing to a newer Pendrive solved the issue.
 
Hello everyone, I am new here. Before i write this message i searched for days for a solution but i didn't find one.

In my case nothing works so far, my hackintosh (10.7.5) suddenly is unable to boot, I didn't change anything on hardware cofig, it prompts the message "Still waiting for root device" on verbose mode. Tried a lot of ideas for solution but nothing works for me, also tried a lot of boot flags but nothing.

Can any one suggest me any idea? * Thank you in advance for your time. * I don't knwo how to fix it.

Download this kext: VoodooTSCSync.kext to use "cpus=1"
 
Just for anyone else who got here at 1 a.m. - i encountered this message when trying to boot from a USB Boot Drive plugged into a USB3 port. Moving the drive to a USB2 port fixed the issue without any other fixes. I'm guessing that something in the boot sequence had re-labelled or disabled the USB3 port.

Same. USB 2 port works fine
 
i had thiss issue too.. what i did was:
-burn the file system to dvd (.hfsx)
-i've allready had my usb with the system from earlyer tries
-i've put the dvd and started from usb to choose instal from usb
then it passed
