Did you end up adding the SSDT-EC.aml in your patches as well? Also, I am not seeing the patches within the DSDT of config.plist

I posted my issue in the r/Hackintosh Discord server and found the fix, I needed to put this in my config.plist under ACPI -> DSDT -> Patches:
Code:
<dict>
  <key>Comment</key>
  <string>Fix Z390 BIOS DSDT Device(RTC) bug</string>
  <key>Find</key>
  <data>oAqTU1RBUwE=</data>
  <key>Replace</key>
  <data>oAqRCv8L//8=</data>
</dict>

How add with clover configurator?

Newbie question for Woo...

Like you were, I'm at a dead end with the 1689 issue. Built tons of Windoze boxes back in the day, but this is my first Hackintosh. Oh yeah, the question...

I don't have a Patches folder under DSDT, and the only config.plist I see is under CLOVER. Help?

Would like to get this project running, but frustration in mounting...

Thanks in advance -GG

Exact same problem here, I have checked and don't have the Patches folder. There is a patched folder but it is empty. Any advise on how to proceed would be excellent.

Use the forum Search tool perhaps ?
This problem has been dealt with many times over the last few days.

You just need to put SSDT-EC.aml in /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched.

Nope. Doesn't work for me. Still stuck at the 1689 error.

Starting to think it's time to cut my loses and part this thing out, buy a proper Mac!

Hey guys!

I'm having the same problem and just went through all the steps and still get the 1689 message.

Does anyone came up with a new solution?

Click the link on my signature which will take you to a guide for your hardware. There are precompiled clover and opencore efi folders you can download.
