I JUST re-installed OSX 10.8.5 and now my steam application does NOT open. Is this happening to anyone else? It also happened during 10.8.4

Bump, I just saw the Steam OS that was released. If my steam doesn't work by 10.9 then I may consider loading that onto my machine. Does anyone know if the games you bought will work on a different platform?
