It's me again :D

I'd like to build a hackintosh for my little sister, but I can't find the right build for her.
It should be cheap (under 200€), stable (vanilla kernel, update proof, sleep, ..), and fast.
She's going to use iMovie for editing her videoclips (DV-Quality, maybe HD later on...), EyeTV for watching HDTV, heavy YouTube'ing, and VMware Fusion for old Windows Apps.

What I planned for her :
An Intel Core2Duo Processor with ˜3GHz
An Gigabyte Sockel 775 Board
-----------------------
What I already got :

XFX (?) Geforce 8600 GT 256MB (already tested --> Dual Monitor, QE/CI, Full HD works with NVEnabler)

4 GB DDR2 Corsair XMS2 RAM

And everything else (PSU, Case, HDD, CDROM, etc..) :)
-----------------------

My questions :

What board do you suggest? (even if it is not Gigabyte)
What CPU do you suggest? (Would even a Pentium Dual work?)
Do you suggest the old Sockel 775 at all? :?

How about going socket 1156 route instead of 775?
You can salvage your VGA card and HDD. You might consider a mini ITX build perhaps?

Or choose a shuttle

I already knew these builds, as I completed a H55 build for my main PC/Mac.
I also could buy the same build as mine (GA-H55M-UD2H) with an Core i3 instead, but this would cost about 240€ (RAM and Cooler included). :(

And no, I want a microATX board. ;)

Thanks anyway.

I compared prices on the net, but 775 is just a few euros cheaper than a shiny new i3 build (and not soo good at all), so I'll probably buy that i3 one.

Thanks anyway.
