Hi there!

I'm planning on building a Core i5 2500k based system but seeing as this will be a workstation for digital audio I was planning on disabling Speedstep in BIOS as that is a major issue on Windows based systems and I want the CPU to always run at full (stock) speed. I would also disable Turbo Boost by the way..

Do I still need the SSDT when running 10.7.4?

Thanks!

I've turned all my speedstep crap off in my BIOS and i still get throttled to 22x from 37x on my i5 2500k..

Is there a easy way to Disable SSDT?

Have you tried using NULLCPUPM kext ? It should run full speed with it with no steps. I think.
