So I've got everything working perfectly, iGPU (9900k) + Vega 64 running over DisplayPort at 4k, but I'm noticing that my display will blank out every so often for a few seconds and then come back.

It's not the monitor, or the GPU, as I can see the cursor and the cursor moves, it's almost as if macOS just stops rendering everything except the cursor for a few seconds and then everything goes back to normal.

It's really annoying but doesn't actually break anything from what I can tell… has anyone seen something similar to this?

I never noticed it happening on Mojave at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I would check your logs. It sounds like the graphics driver is crashing and restarting. is your internal GPU enabled and set to headless? I was having issues until I got that set up right.

It turns out it's actually Screen Sharing that was glitching out and constantly trying to setup a sharing instance (even though there was nothing connected to it). Disabling it fixed the issue, but I haven't tried turning it back on again yet
