Yesterday me and my friend where trying to hackintosh a SkyLake Special Edition Starwars HP laptop and we got it kinda working the important part is that i got the Intel 520 Graphics to work and sorta the keyboard and trackpad.

Specs:

Mac OS X 10.11.4 (UniBeast Drive) (Its on a 128GB USB Drive made by Samsung and partitioned so Unibeast can detect it.)
Intel Core i5 6200u (Intel 520 Graphics)
8GB of RAM
1TB Slow 5200RPM Hard Drive (We are waiting until the wireless card to come so we install the 960GB SanDisk Ultra II SSD together)
1920x1080p Screen 15,5 inch
HP Starwars themed casing

Issues:

Power Management not working (Sleep, Battery Percentage, CPU always running on Max)

Wi-Fi/BT (We are waiting for our DW1560 wireless card to come in the mail but i think i can install it without a problem but idk about the whitelist that HP puts on the BIOS to stop 3rd Party Wireless Cards to work)

Brightness (We don't know how to change the screen brightness)

Sound (Sound isn't really important but i don't know why the audio isn't working i tried VoodooHDA and it gave me the same result my friend is planning to buy a USB sound card if it doesn't work)

Working:

iPhone to USB Ethernet (I used my friends friends iPhone to get Internet Access to get files)

Asus N13 (I let him borrow it until the wireless card comes so he can get internet access without his friends iPhone)

Keyboard and Trackpad (The trackpad works and keyboard but for some reason the Windows Key + Q like shortcuts don't work and when every we get a error while typing the screen flicks like a screenshot like animation)

Intel 520 Integrated Graphics (It works great but I need to change the Display Profile to not have it artifact. Its nice and it works nicely with a lot of the animations smooth)

Battery status unrelated to power management...

Keep in mind the Alt key is the Command key (same physical placement as on real Mac keyboards).

After 13hours 46minutes (Yes i did time myself) Im begging for your help. My eyes hurt after reading all your instructions and code. I wonder if you can help me patch it i have all the files but i get confused with all the instructions. I got native power management to work but not backlight and battery. Here is also the DSDT file. I have little to none experience coding APCI so please help me please and thanks.

Please fill out your profile, so we can know which laptop you have... (I can tell it is an HP from the DSDT header, but that is not enough details...)

As a guess, I think the "HP G6 2221ss" patch will work for battery status with what I see in your DSDT... Apply that patch, and install ACPIBatteryManager.kext.

Backlight is simple:
- apply "Brightness Fix"
- install IntelBacklight.kext

I can't find the brightness fix but I can find the IntelBacklight.kext. This is a friend's computer so do I need to have it in my profile? The model is
Star Wars Special Edition Notebook - 15-an050ca (ENERGY STAR)

For "Backlight Fix" be sure to setup MaciASL per guide/README at github...

Any computer you're asking for help with must be in your profile/signature.

The HP G6 2221ss is not a Skylake CPU laptop?
