Hi I'm in the process of buying components to build out my NUC.

I am either going to try to build it out to use as a customac, or I'll be replacing my current HTPC with it (my powermac G4 hackintosh build pc listed in my signature) so I can turn it back into my hackintosh.

will a Dell DW1520 mini pci-e wireless card with the broadcom BCM943224HMS chipset work using the built in apple airport wireless card drivers in Mavericks?

Also are there any other gotchas that I would need to be aware of before I could successfully get this up and running as a customac, or would I do better to stick to my original build?

thanks for any advice anyone can share

Never got a response so I went ahead with buying this item.

I am unable to get mavericks install on the unit however, it boots to the point where the gui should start, but then the system reboots.

I verified that virtualization and XD are both turned off.

Not sure what else to do at this point, so decided to install windows 7 Professional on it and use it as my media center. I'll be resurrecting my budget powermac G4 customac system soon, as I kept the hard drive with Mountain Lion in the system just unhooked it when I converted it to pull duty as my HTPC.
