First and foremost, Hi!, this is my first post, so I hope to get some questions answered.

The device that I was wondering about is this
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072L7KKYQ/?tag=tonymacx86com-20
It is a Microsoft laptop and would make a good Hackintosh (I think). Just don't want to break my new laptop, so if anyone could help me (because it would be nice to have macOS on this laptop) figure out if its possible, then please reply! Thanks, Sean.

Use search to find existing guides/threads.

Generally speaking, the Surface makes a poor choice as it has incompatible WiFi (that is not replaceable).

Can you get a wifi adapter (USB plug-in device)?

Also, I couldn't find any other discussions that have used the same laptop, only older versions of it.

You found no threads (with google) related to hacking a Microsoft Surface with KabyLake (7th gen) CPU?
You might want to look again...

Like I wrote before, I don't think any of the Surface laptops make good hacks (non-replaceable/incompatible WiFi), but if you wish to pursue it, advice is same as always...

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"
