k I'm trying to put snow leopard on this VAIO but after iBoot, f5, n booting from disk in verbose it gets stuck on waiting for root device. I thought it may be related to graphics card maybe b/c i if i boot from disk w/o verbose it goes to apple w/ spinning gear till i get a grey no smoking type symbol ontop of the apple, so have tried the physical graphics card from auto, speed (nvidia), too stamina (integrated intel) but still same error. 
Another possibility could be my BIOS, durring boot f2 bios menu only things i could change was usb boot on/off, boot order, and date. Is there a method to change to ACHI within Windows?

P.S. questions I'm running XP/7/Ubuntu atm will GRUB/BURG pickup an OSX install (if i can get it installed ^^) or must use Chameleon? Also is Mac SDK/iOS SDK an available option on hackintosh's?
