Hallo,

I'm trying to install ML with Unibeast on a Sony Vaio VPCEJ2L1E.
Inside the bios there is no option for AHCI or S3 or HPET.
The specs for the laptop are: i3-2330m processor, Atheros 9285 wlan, Realtek gigabit ethernet, geforce 410m GPU.
Should this configuration work?
I already tried an install on the mbr partition (as I don't want to mess with the existing Windows 7 (or reinstall it)).
I used EasyBCD as the bootloader for Windows 7 and OSX).
I could only boot in safe mode (-x).
In normal mode I got the error: ntfs volume name 3.1 in verbose boot.
Has this something to do with the mbr boot or is it a graphics problem (as I read somewhere else).
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
Your processor, wireless card, HD 3000 are compatibles. You must delete the partition (no windows) and install ML there (GUID partition). After that, fix the problems that could appear, ie: -x flag. After the install, boot with -v flag and take photos, then post them here. That way we could help you.

I've tried another install with a usb external drive (as I don't want to format the windows 7 disk (not yet)).
Still the same error...
Here is a picture of it in verbose boot:

Any idea, someone?

Okay,

I'm almost finished with my build.
I succeeded with adding device-id in the videokexts.
After that I got full screen resolution but no qe-ci.
I've installed the retail driver from Nvidia (I needed to set my smbios to MacPro 3,1).
After that: full qe-ci!
The only thing that is not working is my brightness settings.
Could somebody inspect my dsdt.aml (i have pnlf setting inside)?
